From Harare travel north on the Mazoe Road.
Pass Mazoe.
Turn Left at Matorashanga Trading Sign, towards Mvurwi, passing through the perminant police road block.
Pass through Mvurwi and turn left at the T Junction.
Pass through Guruve, turn left at the T Junction and then first right towards the escarpment. Although the road through the escarpment is good, it is steep with sharp curves. A welcome laybye and viewpoint lies a short distance down the escarpment.
Pass through police checkpoint and tsetse control at Mahuwe Growth Point. From this point the road changes from tar to dirt to tar a number of times. There is about 150km of dirt road to Tiger Odyssey.
Pass through the Mushumbi Pools area.
Over Manyami River bridge.
Over Angwa River bridge.
Pass a small settlement with local stores. Turn right sortly after the settlement by the Kanyemba sign. However not the road at the road.
The Zambezi River is first spotted from the top of a rise. Before a large dip, turn left in Tiger Odyssey, there is a large sign at the entrance.
